How Did I Improve In Photography?

I improved in Photography a lot, I learned new ways to take pictures and how to get the best lighting.
I know how to get the best angle and I know how to use a professional camera. I learned what different kinds of lighting are and why we use them.

Artist Reflection -- Double Exposure

1. My best shot from this project was the second one.

2. The weakest shot from this project was the first one because the background that I picked didn't really go with the picture.

3. I could take better pictures or get a better fitting background.

4. I used Photo Shop, I used the Layer Mask.

5. I was able to meet my goals by choosing a portrait and a background and blending them together in a way they look good.

6. Getting the pictures, because I already had them from other projects.

7. Blending them together, I really didn't get how to do it until you showed me.

8. I would do everything differently, I would choose a different portrait picture and background.

9. My effort was a 9 because I really tried to find a background that fit the picture and trying to blend them was a struggle.

Artist Reflection -- Portrait

1. The best shot from this project was the first one with split lighting.

2. The weakest shot was probably the last one.

3. I could have taken it in focus more or even at another angle.

4. I used Photo Shop and Image Adjustments.

5. I was able to meet my goals by just taking picture of different things, like split lighting and butterfly.

6. The easiest thing was taking pictures.

7. The thing that was difficult was trying t find someone to sit there and pose for the pictures and getting the lightning right.

8. Everything. I would've had more people posing for the camera.

9. My effort on this project was a 8.

Artist Reflection -- Portrait Lighting

1. I feel like the best shot from this project was the split lighting, because I got a good angle and his face was split perfectly.

2. I don't have any weak shots, but if I had to choose it would most likley the ones I didn't edit.

3. Try to get it in focus more and move around, get different angles.

4.  I used Photo Shop and I used Image Adjustment

5. I was able to meet them by just doing what I'm supposed too. Get my work done.

6.  Taking the pictures, because it's not hard to take pictures all you need to someone to sit there and look good.

7.  The most difficult thing was fixing the lighting, I had trouble getting the shot I needed.

8. get more people to take pictures of.

9. My effort was a 9.

Artist Reflection -- Color Sampling

1. I think my best picture was the one of my aunt with the curtain in the background.

2. The weakest was the one I took of my mom on her phone.

3. It could be improved my it being a little more in focus.

4. I used Photoshop. I used levels, black and white, and sepia.

5. I was able to meet my goals by doing my best and trying to get the best shot I could. Take as many pictures as I could get.

6. What was easy about this project was editing the pictures.

7. The difficult part was trying the get the best shot because in most of the pictures people kept on getting in the way.

8. I wouldn't change a thing.

9. I give myself an 8.

Artist Reflection -- Motion

1. The picture that I think is the best is the one with my name. I think it's the best because i did all by myself and it is creative.

2. The weakest shot was the one's with the little white circles. I chose those because the person that was moving the light wasn't moving it around much.

3. The person could have moved a little more and make even bigger circle or shapes.

4. I used Photoshop.

5. i was able to meet the goals of this assignment by doing what i am supposed to do. Take picture of moving things.

Reflection Questions - Depth The Field

1. I think the best picture from the project is the one with tree that looks like that are going in circles.

2. The weakest shot is the dark ones, the first picture that I took. They are they worst because you can't really see anything and it came out black. I had to edit them so I can make it brighter.

3. Now I know what not to do and how to fix it. I have to get a better angle and better lighting.

4. I used Photoshop

5. I was able to meet the goals by taking more than 30 pictures, I took more than two pictures for stop and blurred photo's

6. The easiest thing about this project is taking pictures.because, all you have to do it click a button.

7.  The difficult thing is that you need to know what you are taking pictures of and why.

8. I'll do anything different. I would take more pictures and even better ones.

9. 8 because, I used my time in class effectively but didn't take many pictures at home.

Contact Sheet -- Motion Project

Motion Project

This is stop motion because, it looks like it is frozen in time.

This is stop motion because, the object stops in mid air.

This is a blurred photo because, the object is not in focus

This is a blurred photo because, it is not in focus and is moving

Depth The Field Project

This is low depth the field because the object is in focus but the background is blurred.
